Senior Frontend & Product Engineer · React · Next.js · TypeScript · AI
I build products people use — and systems teams can scale.
I'm a product-minded engineer with 5 years of experience turning complex problems into reliable, production-ready software.
From building a design system powering 6 applications and migrating production platforms to shipping AI-powered products, I work across frontend, backend, and AI — owning problems from early decisions to production.
I care about what we build, why it matters, and how well it scales.

Things I’ve built
- 01
GIA — Study Abroad Copilot
built end-to-endThe hard part wasn't answering. It was knowing when to ask.
An AI copilot across the whole student operation — courses, universities, scholarships, applications, visas. It answers in the counsellor's own words, and stops to ask when a missing detail would change the answer.
- Streaming Next.js UI
- Node/Express LLM service
- 4 MCP servers, ~50 tools
- ~2,500 sessions in 9 weeks

AI CAS Mock Interview Platform
led the buildThe coaching had to survive without the coach.
An AI coach for the UK CAS interview. Answers are transcribed and scored against criteria built with visa counsellors, then returned as personalised feedback — content, clarity and fluency, answer by answer.
- Transcription + rubric scoring
- Criteria built with visa counsellors
- Per-question feedback

Design System Transformation
built it, then migratedThe portal worked. It just didn't feel like one product.
Every page had been built when it was needed, by whoever needed it. Nothing was broken. Nothing matched.
- 33 component families
- 19 form adapters
- 164 Storybook stories
- 6 apps, ~4,100 import sites

Frontend Platform Modernization
planned and led itThe most important version was the one we skipped.
Modernizing two production frontends and the internal libraries they share. React 19 was available — taking it would have turned a migration into a rewrite.
- ~180 pages
- Next 12 → 15
- React 17 → 18
- No feature freeze

Let’s talk
Let's build something meaningful.
